Information We Collect

Maneeman is designed as a local-first, offline application. We collect minimal information necessary to provide the service.

Information you provide directly:

• Broker profile name and contact details
• Buyer and seller names, codes, and addresses
• Trade entry data including items, quantities, rates, and brokerage amounts
• Place and item group names

Information collected automatically:

• Device ID (used solely for subscription verification)
• App version and basic crash/error logs for debugging

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to provide the Maneeman service:

• To store and display your daily trade entries and brokerage records
• To generate reports such as buyer brokerage, seller brokerage and financial year summaries
• To verify your subscription status using your device ID
• To enable cloud backup and restore functionality via Google Drive

Data Storage & Security

All your business data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database. Your data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up.

• Local database is stored in your device's private app storage
• Cloud backups are stored in your own Google Drive account — we do not have access to your Google Drive data
• You can export your raw SQLite database file at any time from Settings
• Deleting the app removes all local data from your device

Google Drive Integration

Maneeman uses Google Drive for optional cloud backups. When you use this feature:

• We request permission to create and read files in a dedicated Maneeman folder in your Google Drive
• We only access files created by Maneeman — we cannot access any other files in your Drive
• Your Google credentials are managed entirely by Google — we never store your Google password or tokens
• You can revoke Drive access at any time from your Google Account settings

Our use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Google Drive — only when you initiate a backup (your own account)
• Legal requirements — if required by applicable law or legal process

We have no advertising partners, analytics providers, or data brokers with access to your information.

Subscription & Payments

Maneeman uses a one-time onboarding fee and annual subscription model. Regarding payments:

• Payments are handled directly — we do not store credit card or bank account details
• Your device ID is used to verify subscription status locally
• Subscription status is verified against our secure server using only your device ID

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times
• Export: Export your complete database as a .sqlite file from Settings
• Delete: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all local data
• Backup control: You choose when and whether to back up to Google Drive

Children's Privacy

Maneeman is a professional business application intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
